Specialty classes at The Connection teach your child fundamental skills in a warm and welcoming environment which fosters creativity and self-expression.

CURRENT CLASSES:

• Chess with Grandmaster Mac |  ages 6-11 (Intermediate)
  Elevate your chess skills! This class delves into intermediate tactics, positional play, opening theory, and in-depth endgame analysis to sharpen your understanding and competitive edge.

• Culinary Kids  |  ages 6-8 & ages 7-10
  In this class children will explore cooking and baking while learning and having fun. Our aspiring chefs will discover elements of food science, learn about the background of each food, practice following a recipe, and create each dish from start to finish! *This class will be working with gluten, eggs, and dairy. If your child has an allergy and would like to participate, please contact the director.
• Digital Creators Studio  |  ages 10-12
  NEW! – An engaging introduction to coding and digital creation, where students learn foundational programming concepts through interactive platforms and project-based learning. Focus areas include sequencing, logic, and creative digital expression.
• Messy Mornings  |  ages 1-4 + parent
  An extended morning of mess-making with your child! Enjoy your snack when you two need to refuel for more fun with the water table, arts & crafts, rice pool and more!
• Innovation Lab  |  ages 8-10
  NEW! – A hands-on STEM experience where students take on design challenges, build solutions, and explore core engineering concepts. They will focus on on creativity, collaboration, and applying critical thinking to real-world scenarios.
• Girls Flag Football  |  ages 5-8
  NEW! – TC has teamed up with NFL to launch a developmental GIRLS Flag Football League. This program will feature a fun mix of practices and games tailored to our players ages and abilities! We will focus on athletic development, teamwork, and building the confidence girls need both on and off the field. We are also looking for volunteer parent coaches, who will receive training, drills, and step-by-step practice plans through an easy-to-use app.
